Kay Park and of course the Dean Castle Country Park, a place to be marvelled with scenic nature trails, Castle tours detailing the history of the castle and Kilmarnock, pet corner and adventure playground. Another Kilmarnock marvel, just a stone's throw away from the Silverdale development is The Dick Institute Library which not only boasts an exhaustive book collection but is also home to a stunning collection of artefacts and has a gallery open to the public where not only museum pieces are displayed but local up-and-coming writers and artists can also display their pieces.



No mention of Kilmarnock could be complete without reference to Scotland's Bard - Rabbie Burns.
